The University Academy Charter Gryphons volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Raytown South Cardinals to 0 in the Gryphons non-league victory on Saturday.
The Gryphons now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Michael the Archangel for a non-league game on Monday, September 11. University Academy Charter will confront a Guardians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Howell (St. Charles, MO). The Guardians record now stands at 8-4.
The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS). The Sabres enter the Meadowlark game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Sumner Academy gained a win over Washington (Kansas City, KS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
