The Van Buren Pointers topped the visiting Searcy Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pointers now have a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Van Buren will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rogers (Rogers, AR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-5.
The Lions (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Grizzlies enter the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Northside was knocked off by Rogers (Rogers, AR), 3-0, in a league test.
