South Dakota High School Volleyball - Timber Lake can't hold off Stanley County

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Stanley County Buffalos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Timber Lake Panthers.

The Buffalos (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (Eagle Butte, SD). The Braves come into the A Region 6 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Cheyenne-Eagle Butte was edged by McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers (Mobridge, SD) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Timber Lake will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD).
