With the triumph, Northview Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 1-6. Gatlinburg-Pittman lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against University School (Johnson City, TN)

The Bulldogs now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bell County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Claiborne will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-2.
