Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH) and the visiting West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH), saw Northridge's soccer squad triumph over West Jefferson by a count of 9-1.

The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH). The Yellowjackets enter the Licking County battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon was overwhelmed by Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Roughriders battle the Greeneview Rams (Jamestown, OH) in a Ohio Heritage North battle, on Thursday, September 19. West Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
