Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Westview advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sherwood (Sherwood, OR) to clash with the Bowmen in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Bowmen come into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Kingsmen now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Putnam will clash with a Rams team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
