In Monday's non-league match, the host West Las Vegas Dons football squad scored a close 21-14 victory over the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes.
The Dons (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Santa Fe got by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 28-8, in a non-league match.
