A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the host Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC), 6-0 in a non-league battle.
The Rockets (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Thomas Jefferson tipped Avery County (Newland, NC), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the East Henderson Eagles (East Flat Rock, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 16. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Christ School (Arden, NC).
