In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Hampshire Whip-Purs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Harvard Hornets.
The Whip-Purs (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Wheaton Academy was edged by Oswego (Oswego, IL), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 12. Harvard will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
