Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) and the host William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA), observed Lunenburg Central's volleyball team top William Campbell by a tally of 2-0.

The Chargers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Buckingham was beaten by Altavista (Altavista, VA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Generals meet the Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. William Campbell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Statesmen enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Heritage (Lynchburg, VA).
