In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Waterloo Bulldogs.

The Crusaders (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Griffins go into the Gateway Metro outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Father McGivney Catholic got by Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 5-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL) in a Mississippi Valley outing, on Tuesday, September 10. Waterloo will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 0-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL).
