The Surrattsville Hornets soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting College Park Academy to 1 in the Hornets league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Largo for a Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A bout on Thursday, September 12. Surrattsville will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Central (Capitol Heights, MD). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, College Park Academy moves to 0-1 on the year. The travel to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
