Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Oakdale advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The travel to Churchill (Potomac, MD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0.

The Cougars now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hedgesville for a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, September 10. Jefferson will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
