The Pirates (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson City (Jackson, KY). The Tigers enter the District 54 battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Jackson City by Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY), 8-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Johnson Central will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).
