Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN) followers went home happy Monday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN), 6-0 in a league battle.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Royals enter the Class AA Section 6 battle with a 4-1 record.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 12. Robbinsdale Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Hylanders enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN).
