Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) and the host Troy Trojans (Troy, PA), saw Sullivan County's soccer squad knock off Troy by a count of 2-0.

The Griffins (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Mountaineers enter the Mid-Penn D4 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, South Williamsport by Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Horseheads (Horseheads, NY).
