Kentucky High School Volleyball - Allen County-Scottsville tips Metcalfe County

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) and the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), observed Allen County-Scottsville's volleyball team hold off Metcalfe County by a count of 2-1.

The Patriots (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Clinton County got by Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Hornets battle the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Metcalfe County will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, KY).
