North Carolina High School Volleyball - Forbush bounced by Ashe County

September 9, 2024: East Bend, NC 27018

The Forbush Falcons volleyball squad (East Bend, NC), dropped 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC)

With the win, Ashe County improves its record to 10-1 on the season. The Huskies host Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a Northwestern 3A/4A battle on Wednesday, September 11. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 4-5. Alexander Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against University Christian (Hickory, NC)

The Falcons now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Surry for a Foothills 2A battle on Tuesday, September 10. Forbush will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-2.
