Houghton Lake Bobcats (Houghton Lake, MI) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Farwell Eagles (Farwell, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Houghton Lake advances its record to 1-9 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI) to face the Braves in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Braves go into the test with a record of 5-2.

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gladwin for a Jack Pine test on Wednesday, September 11. Farwell will face a Flying G's squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Flying G's record now stands at 4-7.
