Arizona High School Volleyball - Tonopah Valley overwhelmed by Florence

Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tonopah Valley Phoenix (Tonopah, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Florence improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Gophers travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Vaqueros go into the test with a record of 6-6.

The Phoenix now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland Prep for a 3A - West test on Thursday, September 12. Tonopah Valley will face a Honey Badgers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ). The Honey Badgers record now stands at 0-3.
