In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Lincoln Golden Bears volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Winterboro Bulldogs.

The Golden Bears (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Ragland (Ragland, AL). The Purple Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Ragland edged Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Talladega Tigers (Talladega, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Winterboro will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL).
