In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Mayfield Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Westview Chargers.

The Cardinals (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record.

Next, the Chargers meet the Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) in a AA District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Westview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Choctaws enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jackson Christian (Jackson, TN).
