The Valley Central Vikings topped the visiting Middletown Middie Bears volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Vikings confront the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III game, on Wednesday, September 11. Valley Central will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Gladiators go into the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).

The Middie Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 9 Orange County I game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Monroe-Woodbury gained a win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
