The South Point Pointers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Raceland Rams to 2 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Pointers now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Fairland for a Ohio Valley outing on Tuesday, September 10. South Point will play a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Raceland drops to 6-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to play the Musketeers in a District 63 outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Musketeers come into the outing with a record of 8-1.
