Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Shamokin Area advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians host Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-1.

The Mountaineers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sugar Valley Rural for a PIAA District IV test on Wednesday, September 11.
