Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), 32-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Douglass improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Lions in a non-league battle on Sunday, September 14. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Wolverines now have a 0-1 record.
