The Bemidji Lumberjacks soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Moorhead Spuds to 2 in the Lumberjacks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lumberjacks now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. Bemidji will play a Comets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Comets record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Moorhead moves to 1-5 on the year. The Spuds host St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN) to play the Knights in a Class AA Section 8 bout on Saturday, September 13. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-2. St. Michael-Albertville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Wayzata (Plymouth, MN)
