In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Cottage Grove Lions (Cottage Grove, OR) soccer squad nipped the visiting Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR), by a margin of 2-1.
The Lions now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sweet Home for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. Cottage Grove will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Western Christian (Salem, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.
