With the triumph, Crestview advances its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-5. Open Door Christian won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Trinity (Garfield Heights, OH)

The Spartans now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellefontaine for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Pleasant will play a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 2-3.
