In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Western Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Eastern Comets.
The Panthers now hold a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Lafayette Central Catholic for a Hoosier challenge on Wednesday, September 10. Western will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Rossville (Rossville, IN). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Eastern moves to 2-3 on the year. The Comets host Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN) to encounter the Braves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Braves go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Maconaquah won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Miami (Denver, IN)
