Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) and the host Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC), saw Georgetown Day's soccer squad hold off Jackson-Reed by a count of 2-1.
The Mighty Hoppers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs enter the ISL battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA battle, on Wednesday, September 10. Jackson-Reed will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 10-0 league loss to School Without Walls (Washington, DC).
