In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Leesville Road Pride soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Holly Springs Golden Hawks.
The Pride (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Heritage got by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Golden Hawks clash with the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Holly Springs will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
