The Chatfield Chargers softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Mountain Vista Golden Eagles to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakewood for a challenge on Saturday, September 13. Chatfield will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Frederick (Frederick, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

The Golden Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Bruins go into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Cherry Creek held off Chaparral (Parker, CO), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
