In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Glenwood Springs Demons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Aspen Skiers.
The Demons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rifle (Rifle, CO). The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Rifle got by Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO), 2-1, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Skiers face the Grand Valley Cardinals (Parachute, CO) in a test, on Thursday, September 11. Aspen will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
