The Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) volleyball held off the host Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Moriarty was tipped by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league match.
