Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Hamilton Huskies (Chandler, AZ), observed Desert Vista's volleyball team hold off Hamilton by a count of 2-1.
The Thunder (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Colts go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corona del Sol for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16.
