Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Grayville Bison (Grayville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Newton (Newton, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Bison face the Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 15. Grayville will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 5-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, IL).
