In Tuesday's league bout, the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) volleyball team held off the host Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Greyhounds now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Woodstock for a bout on Thursday, September 11.
With the loss, Lassiter drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 3-0. Sequoyah won 2-0 in their recent league match against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA)
