In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Athens Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Troy Trojans.

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie go into the PIAA District IV-AA outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, North Penn-Liberty got by Towanda (Towanda, PA), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Trojans play the Wellsboro Hornets (Wellsboro, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA test, on Thursday, September 11. Troy will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Williamson (Tioga, PA).
