Virginia High School Soccer - Benedictine knocks off Bishop Ireton

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Benedictine Cadets soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals.
The Cadets (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Woodberry Forest was overwhelmed by Episcopal (Alexandria, VA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Episcopal for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Bishop Ireton will clash with a Maroon team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA). The Maroon record now stands at 1-1.
