The Fruitport Trojans soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Comstock Colts to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now hold a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kelloggsville for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver game on Thursday, September 11. Fruitport will face a Rockets team coming off a 8-0 league win over Belding (Belding, MI). The Rockets record now stands at 7-3.
The Colts (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Cassopolis (Cassopolis, MI). The Rangers enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Cassopolis Howardsville Christian (Marcellus, MI), 3-3, in a non-league bout.
