In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Bunnies.
The Spartans (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin knocked off Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL), 3-0, in a league test.
The Bunnies now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anne for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.
