In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 13. Shelby Valley will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 2-9 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Belfry (Belfry, KY).
