The Southwestern Randolph Cougars soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting North Davidson Black Knights to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host East Davidson for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Southwestern Randolph will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, North Davidson moves to 2-5 on the year. The Black knights travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11.
