The Scott Skyhawks soccer squad (Madison, WV), was edged 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV)
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Chapmanville Regional nipped Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV), 9-2, in a non-league test.
The Skyhawks now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mingo Central for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Scott will meet a Miners team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, WV). The Miners record now stands at 0-3.
