In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the St. Thomas More Cavaliers.
The Scoopers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Douglas/Rapid City Christian (Box Elder, SD). The Patriot Comets go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Douglas/Rapid City Christian was edged by Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Broncs go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD).
