The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK) and the visiting Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK), observed Beggs's softball team prevail over Wetumka by a tally of 13-3.

The Demons (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dewar (Dewar, OK). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Dewar Gore (Gore, OK), 0-0, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Chieftains face the Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) in a Class A contest, on Monday, September 15. Wetumka will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record.
