Colorado High School Softball - Mullen knocked off by Brighton

The Brighton Bulldogs overwhelmed the visiting Mullen Mustangs softball team by a margin of 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Range for a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain outing on Thursday, September 11. Brighton will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 11-2 league win over Boulder (Boulder, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Mullen moves to 6-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Forge Christian (Arvada, CO) to encounter the Fury in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. The Fury come into the outing with a record of 11-1. Forge Christian won 11-1 in their recent non-league outing against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO)
