With the triumph, Pocola improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Indians host Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 6-10.
The Lions now hold a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they host Poteau for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. Howe will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Wister (Wister, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 6-3.
