The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Franklin for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. La Plata will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Northeast (Cairo, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Palmyra moves to 1-2 on the season. The Panthers host Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to confront the Panthers in a Class 2 District 7 outing on Thursday, September 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
